$20,000 Sign On Bonus!

Range for this position is $37.99-49.72/hour; base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Imaging Educator performs under the direction of the radiologist, nuclear medicine procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Complies with ALARA and all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care for the patient. Assesses and provides appropriate education, competency and skill building programs to the Medical Imaging staff. Ensures such curriculums are based on the principle of delivering care appropriate to the ages of the patients served in the department. Will work collaboratively with clinical users of the Clinical Information System (CIS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and auxiliary applications, serving as a liaison between facility leadership, physicians, staff, and Corporate Information Technology (CIT). Collaborates with physicians, leaders, and department staff to ensure patient care processes, image quality and documentation are optimized. Develops in collaboration with department leadership and Radiologist to implement, and evaluate learning opportunities. Develops, implements and evaluates learning opportunities.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associates

Specific Majors: Nuclear Medicine Technology

Licenses/Certifications:

- NMED-Nuclear Medicine-IEMA license

Other Licenses/Certifications

- BLS (American Heart Association)

- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) OR

- ARRT(N)(R) American Registry of Radiology Technologist (Nuclear) (Radiology)

Experience:

- 2 years medical imaging experience in a hospital setting.

Other skills/knowledge:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
