Position Summary:

Responsible for performing computer software activities relating to the design, testing, and manufacture of electronic components, products, and systems. Ability to conceive, design, acquire, implement, and operate production test systems related to micro-electronic products. Responsible for all aspects of test and calibration

Position Requirements:

*Tester Design

*Write and maintain programming code for Automated Test Systems, including environmental testing, automated calibration, and data analysis programs.

*Knowledge of test equipment, communications hardware and software, including GPIB, Serial Busses, Parallel Busses, LANs etc.

*Skilled in testing, programming, and calibrating ASIC based products using common industry ASIC memories such as EEPROM, fusible links, and flash memories.

*Implement real-time in-process test statistics reporting and integrate the test system with the real time control system of a production line.

*Implement database management for controlling the flow of product in the production line. *Implement database management of historical production statistics with easy access to production results and yields when troubleshooting field returns or retrieving original test data of returned product.

*Transfer software from a development language to Visual Basic, HPVee or Labview for production, which may include writing or researching Windows device drivers.

*Increase process yields by interfacing and working with all processes that are inputs to the test and measurement.

*Maintenance and testing of cable assemblies used for testing, as well as GR&R Measurement System Analysis for all equipment used for testing.

*Prepare specifications and costs for purchase of new test equipment.

*Set up and troubleshoot new test equipment and processes.

*Maintain compliance to current customer specific requirements as applicable.

*Develop project design timetable to assure that the product is ready for customer on time. *Develop NRE Cost and Simple tester BOM conceptual designs and quote materials.

*Support Quality and Production

*Develop product release drawings to provide manufacturing with the documents they need to build products.

*Provides basic support of APQP activities, plant support, purchasing and sales, failure analysis

* Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.

* Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of SSI Technologies, LLC. which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems.

* All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Professional/Technical Experience, Skills and Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering related field, required.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, required.
  3. Supports engineering team during customer meetings, required.
  4. Intermediate project management knowledge, required
  5. Provide intermediate technical knowledge in most aspects of a project(s), required.
  6. 4 years of experience to be considered.
