WHAT YOU'LL DO

A successful Operations and Consumer Banking Intern will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. The selected candidate will actively assist our internal Operations and Consumer Banking teams and their efforts to support Busey Bank's with a key project. The project will give you an opportunity to bring great value to the organization in a short time period. You will also be given the opportunity to network and understand the companies' different functions throughout your internship.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Duties:

• Partner with the Operations team as they support Busey's enterprise banking efforts--internally and externally--via a critical project role.
• Partner with our Consumer Banking teams in helping execute key project goals
• Attend team meetings and actively participate with thoughtful ideas, provide research, and support initiatives
• Function as troubleshooter for the project and bring valued insight
• Other research and special projects as assigned

Knowledge of:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with exceptional skills with excel.

Ability to:

• Think creatively and bring fresh perspective to tasks
• Work as a team and take direction in areas where extra help is needed
• Work quickly and accurately to execute project goals timely

EDUCATION, TRAINING & STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

Seeking bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.

GPA of 3.50 or higher preferred; ability to showcase a portfolio of work/school projects required
